Women and Technology
One of the greatest things about being a woman is the opportunity of being encouraged by other women. I was able to attend the Women’s Interactive Workshop that talked about everything from building your brand, blogging and social media to crowd funding, digital image, and creating a viable online publication.
Some of the tips that I learned were:
Get moving
Be consistent
Invest in yourself
Remember that your passion will push you when you’re tired
Have a set strategy
Set your goals and take them to the next level
If you’re the most successful person in your group, get a new group
Be unique
Make sure you are up to date on all information in your field
Make sure people see the work you’ve done
Do our research
There are so many people doing so many things, but this doesn’t mean that you cannot do what you love.
