The Great Gatsby

Like most High School students I was gifted with the responsibility of reading the Great Gatsby and writing a book report about it. As an adult, I have little remembrance of how the book began or concluded. I simple remembered that Gatsby was a fraud. So, it was my pleasure to see The Great Gatsby during its opening weekend. It was definitely an over the top 2013 rendition of the movie, but it was everything that I thought it would be. It stayed true to the book, but it also gave the option to view it in 3D. I was surprised to hear Jay-Z and Beyoncé throughout a large portion of the movie, and a little amused at Moet’s product placement within the movie for about 75% of the movie. I highly recommend this movie.
