It was 50 years since Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. marched and spoke in Washington, DC with his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech. It was also 50 years since one of the most inhumane acts was committed in the USA. So 50 years later after the Trayvon Martin case and the outrage I was able to be a part of history. I learned so much on this trip, and have experiences that will last me a lifetime. I am excited about my part in history.
