Girl Around Town...Lisa Opie

Today’s Girl Around Town is Lisa Opie. Lisa is not only a former Beauty Queen, model, and actress, but she is also a designer. Lisa is the co-founder of Vizcaya Swimwear, the creator of LadyCode, a blog and YouTube channel focused on women's beauty, lifestyle, and empowerment. She has recently launched The LadyCode Shop, an online store that carries her line of false eyelashes and fashion wigs.

Lisa’s love for fashion drove her to develop all of these amazing ventures. She fell in love with fashion because she loves all things glam and feminine, and everything she does with swimwear and her blog embodies just that! With her mother’s sewing kit, $16, and her Facebook account she took her creativity and started her own swimwear line. This led her to eventually start her blog about her life in beauty, fashion, and wellness called LadyCode.

While Lisa is beyond grateful for where she is today, she is just getting started. Her goal is to be a notable brand and face in beauty and fashion, and continue to successfully do what she loves for a living.

Currently, Lisa is in New York City at Mane University with Jen Atkin (the Kardashian/Jenner hairstylist), where she will be learning some hair styles, and then Lisa will be jetsetting to Las Vegas for a LadyCode project next week. After that catch her in Orlando, then who knows? LadyCode keeps her constantly on the go.

Despite all that Lisa has been exposed to, you may be surprised to find out that she is super easygoing and open minded. And, a fun fact that many may not know is that Lisa was homeschooled for the majority of her school years. Lisa struggled with social anxiety and bullying because of it but has worked very hard to overcome. Now confident, beautiful, and empowered, you would have to follow Lisa on social media to see where her talents are taking her.
