It is #TiaraThursday!

Here is our first ever feature, Rhaven McIver. She is a contestant for this weekend’s Miss Connecticut USA. She started pageants at the age of 10 just for fun, and it quickly became a passion for her. This helped her form the motto, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough!”

Rhaven is well traveled and well versed. She has visited 20 countries and plans to see all 196. One thing she likes to do while traveling is participate in medical missions. As a nurse, she feels compelled to provide some service to the countries’ medical community.

This is Rhaven’s 5th attempt at Miss USA, but she believes that persistence and education is key! As a Registered Nurse she plans to obtain her doctorate in nurse anesthesia so that she can provide services to people around the world with no access to healthcare.
