Back To School

My mom was a teacher, so education and helping children was embedded into my service DNA. @wgirlsnyc has always showed a heart to serve, and now its our turn to help them.

We know that the return to school presents unique challenges for all students as they transition to virtual learning and/or modified in-class learning experiences.  Students who have limited resources at home face particular challenges and risk falling behind.  

The WGIRLSNYC has partnered with @childrenofpromisenyc Children of Promise, an organization supporting children across New York whose parents are incarcerated. By providing these children with something as basic as school supplies, you are helping to make sure these students can start the year on the same level as their peers. 

Your donation of any amount will help supply children with learning necessities including headphones, pens, pencils, markers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, pencil pouches, paper, and notebooks.
